Utah Antelope Island 5-30-09

My Dads dear friend passed away in 1992. We got to take a picture by his memoral.

Helicopter Crash: October 29, 1992

Ranger Hall of Fame: 1993

Pave Hawk helicopter, carrying U.S. Army Rangers and Air Force Special-Operations troops on a joint training flight from Hill Air Force Base, crashed in 10 feet of water north of Antelope Island, near Salt Lake City, Utah. Twelve of the thirteen on board were killed.

This page is in remembrance of the soldiers of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command who died in the service of this great nation on 10-29-92 approximately 9:15 p.m. MST. May we remind each other that these men who died doing what they loved best will not fade away. "We will remember them, we will honor them and we will pray for them forever."

My Brother's best friend Derek Hughes from Angels Camp, Ca. also died in that accident. I am happy to see the memorial and that they are not forgotten.

Col. John Keneally was my Dad. I would love to know how your Dad knew him and any stories he would like to share. I google my Dad's name from time to time just try to remember that he is not forgotten. Thanks for posting this!
